Sorry, I have been busy

Sorry for all those people who keep on asking me to post a new message. I have not had a lot of time. School and bowling has started and everything is as hectic as can be. My classes are going pretty good. I have a lot of work to do this semester, but I am still hoping for all A's or really close to all A's. Which means that this blog may not get as much attention as I should give it. Anyway, bowling tryouts were over the weekend. I am already annoyed with Pat. I know that this semester is also going to be hard work for bowling since we lost so many great bowlers last year. :( The apartment is doing good. My roommates and I have been getting along well, and it is so nice not living in the dorms anymore. I have decided to do the PDS in Pekin next year which means that I will be living with Matt next year. I am excited yet a little scared, but I have a while before that happens. If things are going this good at the end of the year then I am sure it will work out. I guess that is a brief overview of what I have been doing. Maybe I will post soon. Hopefully, I will have the time to post soon.

My cell phone sucks!!!

So, my stupid phone keeps on shutting off on me. It is basically dying. booo!!! The worst part is that I get a new cell phone from verizon in a month so it is useless to buy a new phone at full price now. I guess this weekend my mom is bringing her old phone for me to use for a week, but until then I cannot hold a conversation without it shutting off in the middle, which is extremely annoying since that is the only way to talk with Matt during the week.

I got my books today. Not too bad of a price. Except for the fact that all the books that I bought before for my children's lit class are useless, since they changed the teacher hence changing books. Now I need to buy a whole bunch of new ones. I guess I will keep the old ones since they will probably be benefical later on when I am a teacher.

Lisa has moved in, Kristen is probably moving in tomorrow, and Erin is moving in on Wednesday. People are starting to arrive back at school, and the town is starting to get busy. It's making me miss all my friends that will not be returning to ISU even more. :( The next couple of weeks are going to be so hectic, but I am so excited.

Bored

I'm sitting at Matt' house waiting for him to get out of the shower and I am incredibly bored. Not too much exciting has happened. Friday Matt and I went to his friend's house that I did not know and only knew two people there. It was fun though. I felt really young, since most of the people there were married and had kids, and I was the youngest there by 5 years, except for the kids. That was a fun time though. I had some really good jell0 shots. Saturday Matt and I went garage saling, and found absolutly nothing. Then we went out to dinner at Basta Magaries (sp?) which is one of the nicest Itatlian restraunts in the area. It was really good, but way too much food. Then we went over to see Adam and Andrea's new house in Mackinw with Summer and Shawn. That was a great time. The people that lived there before had a graden with a whole bunch of tomatoes, except Adam and Andrea do not like tomatoes, so Summer and I invaded their garden,a nd we got TONS of tomatoes. YUMMY!!!! Summer showed me the picture of the wedding dress she chose. It was really pretty. I cannot wait, except for the wedding is not for another 2 YEARS!!!! Well off to see what we have in store for today. Hope everyone had a good weekend.

STUPID INTERNET PEOPLE!!!!!!!!!!!

So I guess someone came to fix my internet connection in my room weeks ago, but noone ever told me, so i never tried it out on my own. So the guy came and said I think I have been here a week and a half ago, and tried the internet and yep it worked. Damn, I feel stupid! Well, for some good news (I guess). The lawsuit Rachel has aganist the people that gave her the vaccine is going strong, and I have to be witness and have to make a written statement. It is going to be sad going back and remembering all the horrible times that she had to go through. At least it is for the good, and hopefully the people that did this to her will be punished. It cannot bring back those years with all the medication, all the doctors, and her years as a "normal" healthy teenager were robbed of her. Well off to start my first draft. Moved

I decided that I like BlogSpot better than Xanga, so I am moving. I have not posted in Xanga lately. I have not been doing too much. I had a good weekend. Well maybe besides having one too many tequila shots. I have just been having around the apartment, cleaning and rearranging my room, practicing bowling, and visiting with friends. My roomie, Erin, stopped by the other night to move in some more of her stuff. Kristen and her will not offically move in for another week, and Lisa will be moving in on Sunday. Matt came over for dinner last night. It was the first time I have ever really cooked for him. It went really well. I had him enchiladas, tortilla soup, spanish rice, and guacamole. It was pretty good except the soup was too spicy, oh well. It was really nice seeing him during the week. Besides that not much else is going on. Well, I guess I will post again sometime soon.
